- Reading Rookies (fall) enrichment class is an exciting program that will help your child build the skills he or she will need to read and spell. We will introduce letters and sounds through fun, hands-on, multi-sensory learning techniques. Multi-sensory teaching taps into all learning styles and helps reinforce the pathways children need to learn how to read and spell. Each week we will introduce 2-3 letters and sounds through word and letter games and arts and crafts activities. We will also practice letter formation and increase your child's listening comprehension.
- Reading Rookies II (winter/spring) is our second session. New and current students are welcome. Reading Rookies II is not a repeat class. During the second session we will be teaching all the alphabet letters and sounds, while expanding on what your child already knows. We will work on the letters and sounds through a new curriculum that uses fun and creative multi-sensory activities that allow the children to be hands on learners.
